He did seem a little anxious about losing me again, the last time we spoke, all things considered.

Maybe he was arrested? For being a mongrel in Tanagura... but they wouldn't have held him that long.

Zack, it's not like he's somebody's pet animal. He's not even the SOLDIER recruit he was when you met. He can take care of himself. Maybe he doesn't want to be found.
